Harold Wood 

Our funeral home in Harold Wood was our first site to open outside London, when we followed the families we served as they moved to the surrounding Essex countryside.  Together with his brother Frederick, our founder Thomas Coyte converted the private house himself in 1967, before opening it up and renaming it for the area the following year.

Collier Row 

Having built successful relationships in the local community at our Harold Wood Funeral Home, we soon opened our second office in Collier Row Lane. Taking over the premises from a gentlemen’s hairdressers in 1972, Harold Wood Funeral Services continue to provide our services to the local community, as well as the surrounding neighbourhoods and villages. Located near Romford, you can find this funeral home opposite the Tesco Metro and 5 minutes from the A12. 

Hilldene (Harold Hill)

Our funeral directors in Harold Hill is currently our largest Essex funeral home, and is located near Romford, just seven minutes’ drive from the M25. Harold Hill is our third funeral home, created in 1984. After purchasing a hall from St George’s Church in Chippenham Road, our founder, Thomas Coyte, lovingly converted it himself into a modern funeral home. It now provides a friendly, local service to the people of Harold Hill, as well as the surrounding communities.

Hainault & Chigwell

Opened in 2010, our Hainault & Chigwell Funeral Home is our newest location, and the fourth of our funeral parlours. This community has a deep and special meaning to us, with our cousin, friend and fellow director Tricia having lived in the area until her death in 2003. Our Hainault & Chigwell Funeral Home is dedicated to her, and we were very proud to make it our fourth funeral home.
